I was so excited when I saw this fantastic Gift Box in a Card Project on Rachel Tessman’s Blog, www.Stampyourartout.com. What a fun project! So excited in fact, that  I decided to make this my first YouTube Video.

Here are some of the details, but to really get the idea of how to make this, please view my YouTube video!

Materials Needed:

Stamp Set:
Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Ink Colors and Cardstock:
Tangerine Tango, Berry Burst, Garden Green

1 ¾ x 5 ½ Piece of Foil Frenzy DSP
2 ¼ inch Circle Punch Crumb Cake
Starburst Punch in Coordinating Cardstock
2 inch Crumb Cake Cardstock

Other Useful Items:
Stampin’ Trimmer
Bone Folder
Fast Fuse Adhesive
Tear and Tape
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Paper Snips
5 ¾ inch length of Ribbon

Card Base:

8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼

We need to Cut a 2 inch square out of right side of top of card. To do this:

Line up the right edge of your cardstock at ¾ inch, then push the card to the . Starting at the 4 ¼ score line, push blade up to 3. Go back to the 41/4 score line and pull blade down to 5. Slide Card to the right to the 2 ¾ inch mark and go one little line further to the right (1/16) . Cut again from the 3 to the 5 ½ inch mark.

Turn cardstock to landscape mode, and make a cut to connect the two cut lines. You should line the 4 ¼ mark up at the 1 ¼ mark and connect them. Turn and connect other side of cut lines and your box area should pop out.

One fun thing you can do is tip the box so that the top faces the recipient.

I hope you have enjoyed my video and card. Please let me know if you have any questions!
